We reserve the right to modify this Policy at any time without notice, so please review it frequently. The date at the bottom of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. This Policy applies to all information that we have about you, and to your account with us.
If we decide to change this Policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.
If we make material changes to this Policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a prominent notice when you log into the Site prior to the change becoming effective.
The Information We Collect
When you visit balancedworklife.com, you provide us with two types of information: A) personal information (such as your name and email address) that you have voluntarily disclosed to us, and B) non-personally identifiable information that is generated when you interact with the Website.
- A) Personal Information
We collect and store any information you provide when using the Site or give us in any other way. This information may include your first and last name; address including city, state and zip code; email address; username and password or other personal information that may be supplied by you (collectively, “Personal Information”). When you, as a potential coaching client, use balancedworklife.com, you may request a consultation with a BWLC representative or submit information to facilitate coach recommendations for yourself or other members of your organization. When you use any of the Services offered by balancedworklife.com, we may ask for your name, email address, phone number (optional), location, your goal for hiring a coach, and any additional details that pertain to your request for a coach for yourself or other members of your organization. After submitting your request, we contact you to collect more information about your coaching needs and periodically follow-up with you to ensure that we have delivered a high-quality service. In all cases, BWLC stores personal information to track the success of our services.
From time to time, we post testimonials on our Website. We receive permission to post testimonials that include personally identifiable information prior to posting. If you wish to update or delete your testimonial, you can contact us at email@example.com.
We use third parties to provide various services on our behalf such as email service provider, customer relationship management (CRM) software, an assessment service provider and a credit card processor. When you sign up to receive our newsletter your email is stored in our CRM software. Third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose including their own marketing. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us.
- B) Tracking Technologies
As is true of most web sites, we gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes Internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, referring/exit pages, operating system, device type, date/time stamp, and clickstream data.
We may combine this automatically collected log information with other information we collect about you. We do this to improve services we offer you, to improve marketing, analytics, or site functionality.
Technologies such as: cookies, beacons, tags and scripts are used by BWLC and our analytics, affiliate, or email partners. These technologies are used in analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our user base as a whole. We may receive reports based on the use of these technologies by these companies on an individual as well as aggregated basis.
Third parties with whom we partner to provide certain features on our site use LSOs such as HTML 5 to collect and store information.
Various browsers may offer their own management tools for removing HTML5 LSOs.
