Clerical Special Projects

We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, detail-oriented part-time clerical worker for special projects. This is a long-term position with the potential as we grow to become full-time, if desired.

Located in Scottsdale, we are an exciting executive development company working with clients who are committed to discovering and achieving their ultimate potential.

This position requires highly developed skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook. The job involves creating deliverables for our clients and their teams on a project by project basis.

We would prefer someone who can work both from home and from our location, when needed.

Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced clerical person who is looking to do interesting work and still work a part-time schedule.

Job Purpose:

The part-time Special Projects Administrator will help ensure high quality on-time delivery of key projects to our clients and provide key administrative functions to our office.

Duties:

  • Using PowerPoint and Word, creates quality custom documents to be delivered to clients.
  • Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting department documents and information.
  • Determines priority, format, and other requirements by reviewing instructions or references.
  • Verifies information by comparing information to original source.
  • Completes documents by entering edited data.
  • Verifies documents by proofreading and rechecking requirements.
  • Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Other responsibilities as needed

Excellent computer skills and proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Outlook are mandatory.

Able to work from our office or from home. Home office must have high-speed internet, computer able to run Microsoft Office products.

Additional Information

  • Location: Scottsdale, Cactus & 104 Street
  • Compensation – $8 to $10/hour, depending on experience. No benefits.
  • Approx. 16 hours per week, although may range from 10-30 hours in any given week
  • As we grow, the position has the potential to expand to a full-time job
  • Must be available during regular office hours and occasional evenings, although regular weekly schedule may be flexible
  • Due to the nature of our business—We are a NON-SMOKING establishment.
  • Must be able to work in an environment with dogs and cats.
